As a Monogram Brand Ambassador you will be entrusted to provide white glove concierge personalized customer support and offer a prestigious lifestyle experience for our refined clientele. The ideal candidate will be able to integrate their in-depth appliance product knowledge, and attention to detail into a successful client interaction through the entire sales and post sales process.
Major Responsibilities of the Role:
Ability to work out of the Monogram Design Centre located in Toronto and our corporate office in Burlington
Interact daily with consumers, dealers, trade and members of the design committee in person and over the phone/email and live chat
Provide white glove service by recommending tailored solutions to the customer to drive brand loyalty and ensure superior after sale service and support
The candidate will be a subject matter expert on the premium products and able to address installations inquiries
Identify opportunities to enrich consumer experience by providing lifestyle solutions
Administrative support including maintaining the appointment calendar, tracking tool and dealer communications
Address inquiries by designers, trades and consumers related to product selection and specification
Assist with coordinating events, training logistics and preparation of training materials and additional event planning duties
Ability to multitask with strong time management skills while balancing administrative and customer service requests
Prepare and deliver effective and engaging presentations and demonstrations of all brand products to consumers and clients in small to medium sized groups
Host customer, training, and trade events delivering consistent brand messaging
Assist with showroom readiness and presentation to ensure the showroom experience exceeds expectations, minor food preparation, housekeeping, arrangement and staging involved on a daily basis
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Attend training and development opportunities as required
Executing monthly plans and priorities as defined by the Monogram Business Development Manager and Showroom Manager
Collaborate with internal stakeholders
This is an entry level position with potential for growth into a sales role within Canada.
Qualifications:
2-3 year of sales experience within premium luxury brands; high end appliance experience is preferred
Minimum of 5 years customer service in person and over the phone/email
University or College degree/certification or equivalent work experience
Intermediate computer skills and the ability to work with Excel, PowerPoint and Word are required
Outstanding guest services skills and sophisticated verbal & written communication skills
Ability to blog and post on social media
Ability to communicate with trade, industry professionals and consumers in a professional and responsive manner
Driven to acquire the resources and required product and design knowledge leading to effective audience interactions and becoming a subject matter expert
Ability to multitask and liaison with effective time management skills is required for success with event planning and administrative tasks
Strong problem solving skills, and the ability to organize and plan work independently are essential to this function
Comfortable working in a culinary environment
Commitment to engaging in ongoing learning
Ability to have a flexible working schedule (able to work week-ends and some evenings)
Fluently Bilingual (English and French) is an asset

Position Summary
The Retail Sales Specialist (RSS) is responsible for servicing and selling to retail accounts within an assigned territory to assure client standards are met and volume is increased. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, ambitious, and driven to succeed. This person should also have strong communication skills with the confidence to influence key decision makers at store level. They must possess excellent organizational skills and have the ability to work independently.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Sales
Sell at store level “live orders” on multiple clients (>5 clients) in over 50% of their stores on the monthly basis.
Increase sales volume through promotional activity by selling and building displays, creating themes with related items to support holiday/special promo events, and making plan-o-gram adjustments when necessary.
Increase sales volume by constantly suggesting and completing orders for new and out-of-stock items.
Customer Relations (Internal/External)
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively both internally with Company management and externally with all Customers
Distribution
- Meet client and Company objectives by maintaining full distribution on all authorized SKU’s.
Shelf Standards
- Will work on the authorization of items to meet Client shelf schematic standards. Must be able to take direction regarding tagging, rotating, and placing POS materials for products on shelf.
Merchandising
- Maintain client objectives by insuring all authorized client items represented on the shelf have accurate and complete tags and making certain that un-saleable or out-of-code product is removed.
Territory Management
Achieve client goals and objectives by effectively managing stores within your territory and executing projects and standards.
Increase brand representation and effectiveness through establishing and maintaining customer and client relationships.
Spend over 4-days per month in preparing and making wholesaler sub-group headquarter calls with a minimum of four sub-group calls.
Administration/Reporting
- Will complete accurate and timely paperwork and reports, recaps, itineraries, timesheets, expense reports, etc.

Minimum Qualifications
Education Level: (Required): High School Diploma or GED o r equivalent experience
(Preferred): Bachelor's Degree o r equivalent experience
Field of Study/Area of Experience: Previous retail experience, Client or food broker preferred
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Strong initiative and self-driven, ability to work independently with little supervision.
Good basic computer, organizational and follow up skills.
Mathematically and analytical ability.

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work may be performed in an office, field, retail store, or warehouse environment. Typically requires the ability to spend 66%+ hours each work day doing the following activities: engage in considerable physical activity, ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds, stand on feet for long periods of time, use products or cook food as appropriate for the demonstration, and may be required to work in extremely cold conditions (i.e. refrigerated and freezer sections). Also required to travel and drive. The use of proper safety practices when handling the products and/or cooking is essential.
